❖ Saltdean Repair Cafe – support, expand & canvas for possible tool library ❖ Recycle arts & crafts workshop at St Nicholas Church Hall {DTBE} ❖ Co Craft with St Nicholas Church sewing & repair circle
Produce an easy guide to the Circular Economy {featuring all the ‘Re’s {re-design, re- imagine etc.} briefs on common products, simple projects, & local resources & drop offs.
❖ Green Dragons Den! {develop & promote with local business partners, community groups & the council an event where we ask the Entrepreneurial & Sustainability minded to pitch new start-up small businesses to close the gaps in the local supply chains with more resilient products & services}
❖ Pop up community hub for multi-interest groups & a base for local reclaim of arts & crafts materials, garden & DIY {using the meanwhile tenancy method – short term}
❖ Develop & new local connections with churches & community groups & enthusiastically support existing schemes to use garden & food waste for collective compost & biodigester proposal.
Building connections between disciplines- to have integrated solutions to common problems :
Eg Transport – dumpster diving rounds, energy – labour & power, food & growth – compost & energy.
